In her Instagram bio, Angkie Yudistia called herself ‘Hard of Hearing Mama’, author of 4 books, storyteller creator, and sociopreneur. Born in Medan thirty-five years ago, Angkie Yudistia became a disabled person when she was 10 years old. It is suspected that this happened because of the effects of using drugs when she was attacked by several diseases. Angkie was in a downturn, but the support from her family, especially her mother get her up and get back to living her life.

In 2019, Angkie Yudistia was announced as one of President Joko Widodo's seven special millennial staff. She is entrusted with handling and being the president's spokesperson in the social sector. This achievement was not taken for granted, but it is known because previously Angkie had worked in the sociopreneur field, especially for the disability group.

Angkie founded a company called Thisable Enterprise. The company she founded in 2011 aims to empower groups with disabilities in Indonesia to have abilities and ends by channeling them into the world of work, especially in the creative economy industry. She considered that currently, it is still difficult for groups with disabilities to get good jobs, therefore she decided to build Thisable Enterprise so that groups with disabilities can compete in the world of work and improve their economy.

In the same year that she was appointed as a special millennial staff, Angkie was awarded Asia's Top Outstanding Women Marketeer of The Year by the Asia Marketing Federation. This made her determined to further assist disabled groups toward an inclusive Indonesia.

Angkie's concern for the disabled group does not stop with her various movements. She also poured her enthusiasm through a book entitled ‘Perempuan Tuna Rungu Menembus Batas' published in 2011, and 'Setinggi Langit' published in 2013.

Angkie also often shares educational content on her personal Instagram page and discusses many things. Angkie really depicts a great female figure even with the shortcomings she has. Besides being successful in her career, she is also successful as a deaf mother.
